Dear Dancer,
You love to move. To be in class moving with everyone finding the rhythm, pushing yourself to capture the music, the timing, the artistry… You have such a connection to the beauty of this art form, there is no doubt about that.
But occasionally, it feels like something is missing. The passion falls dormant underneath all of the ‘shoulds’, all of the busyness and the exhaustion of the mundane, daily hustle. You know dance has something to do with your purpose, but it gets lost in the politics and the struggle to pay bills. Even numbness sets in at times, and the artform becomes a burden or a heavy weight, instead of the beautiful gift it used to be.
Perhaps it’s time to let the beauty of dance minister to you again in a new way. Maybe there is a way to revitalize your connection to the purpose of dance in your life beyond just the practicing and performing.

On the Wholeness Journey, we will engage with dance from another place. Dance is able to take us beyond ourselves and find common language and beauty in other tribes of people and their one-of-a-kind expression. Not only that, but movement is a highly potent modality for healing. Have you ever had the chance to facilitate a healing process for someone through movement? Do you feel called to offer the gift of dance and give tools to under-resourced communities?
We will partner with a few organizations who’s community has been affected by trauma, physical/mental and emotional abuse, and extreme poverty. We have the gift of providing ways of healing for these beautiful girls & women who have powerful stories! YOU get to be a part of their redemption story.

MEET YOUR FACILITATORS
JESS DAHL
My desire is that you would come with open and expectant hearts to uncover more of your own identity, to know that you matter, and that you’re life and calling is worthy of tapping into! That you would experience a refreshment in your body, mind, heart, and spirit that you then feel you need to share with the world! That you would see you have the gift to transform lives everywhere you go and that you have community that will inspire you, equip you, and empower you to live your wildest dreams! That you would live a life that is an extension of overflow-giving and receiving-a life that is abundant in every area of your life. My desire is that you will step out of your comfort zone and take action into all the places that your heart leads you!
Whitney Hancock
My wish for you on this trip is that you would see the deep treasure that you have as a dancer pour out of you in every interaction, workshop or class as you see movement unlock the hearts of the least of these. My heart is to see you discover just how much you have to offer in the years you’ve invested in your craft, and how that investment gives you ten times the return when you give it away. It’s my prayer that you would come to find that the God-abilities you have as a dancer can be used in your very own community in practical, spiritual and deeply redemptive ways. And lastly, it is my hope that you would experience God’s vast creativity and healing touch through your courage as you step forward and offer your dance as a sacrifice and a gift to those who have experienced great trauma. And in this, you would see the face of Love multiply hope and freedom through our beloved art of dance.
COSTA RICA TRIP DATES: November 15th-23, 2024
COST: $3,100 ($500 deposit + $2,600 fundraised)
DEPOSIT: $500 due by June 20th to reserve your spot ( if a situation arises and we are not able to go, the full deposit can go to a future Wholeness Journey).
Includes all costs on the ground: lodging, transportation, food, donations and team supplies.

- E-mail with times to set up your phone interview will be sent to you
- Create Fundraising Page & pay $500 deposit there
- Meet your Wholeness Journey team & raise funds
- Embark on your life changing experience!
